Capitol Hospital, a dream project of Dr. C.S. Pruthi, an eminent cardiologist of Jalandhar, has been established with the aim of bringing the highest standards of medical and surgical care to the residents of North India under one roof. The hospital will also cater to the medical needs of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs), who target India for an efficient health-care system. It is an institution for healing and care in consonance with the lofty medical ideals set forth in the Hippocratic Oath for doctors, as also a research centre for medical advancement. Capitol Hospital is situated on Jalandhar-Pathankot Road (National Highway-44), Near Reru Chowk, Jalandhar. The 300-bedded hospital complex has been set up in an area of over 5.25 acres. The complex is centrally air conditioned and built aesthetically to provide an ambience of healing. In the first phase, the hospital has been started with one hundred and five beds. There are six state-of-the-art operation theatres and two ultra modern Cardiac Cath-labs in the hospital. Capitol Hospital has become pioneer in fighting the dreaded disease of cancer by setting up a complete cancer treatment centre in all dimensions. With the addition of latest version of TrueBeam System, a new generation technology, treatment is being provided with precision and speed.
