CANDIDATES REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Nursing

• Any registered nurse from India with at least 12 month’s  post graduate experience

• IELTS with minimum of 7 for all modules (can be a combination of two test results)

• Registration with the NMC initiated or completed

• No Age Limit

Please note that you can still register with NMC and work in UK as Nurse even WITHOUT IELTS as long as you have completed a 3 year (or equivalent) nursing program, with 1 year post registration experience as qualified nurse or midwife and has met any of the following criteria: 

• Grade B in OET. you would need to get a grade B in all four areas of the test (reading, writing, listening and speaking)

OR 

• A recent pre-registration nursing or midwifery programme that has been taught and examined in English

OR 

• Registration and one year’s practice with a nursing or midwifery regulator in a country where English is the first and native language.

• Standard NHS Permanent contract;

• Salary Band 5 (£ 21,909 to £ 28,462) for all registered nurses, dependent on demonstrated experience by the candidate.

• Loyalty period of 2 years;

• 37.5 weekly hours;

• 27 days of yearly leave and 8 holidays;

• In the event a candidate has not completed his/her registration with the NMC at the time of commencement of employment, he will be invited to begin working as a healthcare assistant until the registration is complete;

• Medical Surcharge (per year of visa x3 years)

• Your IELTS UKVI test

• All costs related to your application and initial inclusion on to the Nursing & Midwifery (NMC) register
